    Job Description

    As Chef de Partie, you'll work closely with our experienced sous chef and head chef, collaborating to create delicious dishes and maintain the smooth operation of our kitchen.

    Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively as part of a team will be essential in ensuring the success of our culinary endeavours.

    In this role, you'll need to have a strong understanding of food safety and allergens to uphold our commitment to providing safe and enjoyable dining experiences for our customers.

    At ISS, we prioritise cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen, and you'll play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure cooking and production of food is done according to the Company standards and Statutory Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations
  • Serve customers in the appropriate manner
  • Lead and provide food and beverages at service counters and to ensure sufficient supplies throughout the service periods
  • Ensure that the meals and services comply with the agreed budgetary standard and cost
  • Ensure your immediate working area is clean and tidy at all times
  • Assist with all aspects of cleanliness in the kitchen and catering areas
  • Ensure that all stores and other areas of potential loss are secured at all times
  • Carry out any reasonable management request
  • Receive and implement any training required
  • Assist at any special duties or functions which may fall outside of normal working hours
  • Report any customer complaints or compliments and take remedial action wherever possible
  • Attend meetings, courses and training sessions as may be necessary from time to time
  • Relieve and assist in other areas within the unit or other ISS sites as and when required

    • Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Previous catering experience required
  • Clean and well presented
  • Pleasant and engaging team member
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Previous food service experience
  • COSHH and Manual handling
  • Good communicator
