    Position: HSSEQ Administrator

    Location: Hemel Hempstead

    Owned by two of the world's best known energy companies, BPA has been established for over 50 years, specialising in engineering and operating high pressure hydrocarbon cross country pipelines and associated facilities in the downstream energy sector.

    We specialise in 'multi-product' systems, managing over 1000km of fuel pipelines in the UK, together with associated pumping stations, bulk storage tank-sites and road/rail terminal facilities. In addition, we deliver pipeline & terminal engineering projects worldwide.

    What will you be doing?

    You will provide an administrative and guidance service within the Health, Safety, Security, Environmental Protection and Quality team to ensure that BPA's HSSEQ policies, processes and programmes are effectively developed and managed and are in line with relevant HSSEQ Legislation, Regulations and Standards. Responsibilities include the following:

    Documentation and Record Keeping:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the HSSEQ portal pages.
    • Ensure all documentation is easily accessible for audits and inspections.
    • Update HSSEQ policies, procedures, and manuals as needed.
    • Process 3rd party and regulatory submissions.

    Compliance Monitoring:

    • Monitor updates to compliance regulations.
    • Support internal and external audits and inspections.

    Incident Reporting and Investigation:

    • Support reporting of incidents, accidents, and near misses.
    • Maintain incident records and generate reports for analysis.

    Training and Communication:

    • Schedule HSSEQ training programs for employees.
    • Communicate policies, procedures, and updates to the workforce.
    • Address HSSEQ-related enquiries and concerns.

    Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Compile and analyse HSSEQ data to identify trends.
    • Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators.

    What do we need from you?

    • Strong Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail: We are seeking individuals who can effectively manage documentation and maintain accurate records. Attention to detail is crucial for ensuring compliance and quality in our operations.
    • Previous Administrative Experience Required: Candidates should have prior experience in administrative roles, demonstrating their ability to handle tasks efficiently and effectively.
    • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication is essential for liaising with team members and addressing inquiries and concerns related to HSSEQ.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary for creating documents, analysing data, and preparing reports.
    • Experience in a Similar Role or Industry Advantageous: While not essential, candidates with previous experience in roles related to health, safety, security, environment, and quality (HSSEQ) or similar industries will be preferred.
    • Driving Licence: As travel to various sites may be required for experience and self-development purposes, a valid driving license is necessary for this role.

    Salary:

    Basic Salary of £25,000 + benefits
