About The Role

Key responsibilities:


  • Maintain forecast tool data to accurately plan orders, work with suppliers to forecast an annual usage plan.
  • Maintain stock levels to deliver to customers OTIF, keeping overstocks to a minimum.
  • Maintain, chase and expedite purchase orders with suppliers to ensure delivery timescales are met.
  • Work closely with key customers to improve processes and procedures to ensure they are receiving the qualityofservice wren strive to offer.
  • Actively liaise with other departments to drive development projects, assisting senior buyers where required.
  • Become an expert in the products you manage; constantly reviewing the categories to improve the product and service, as well as holding quarterly supplier performance reviews.
  • Ensure product information and pricing is maintained and correct.
