Salary:

Competitive + Benefits**As a Technical Authority you will play a role within the Radio Performance & Design team formulating and driving various network automation and transformation initiatives to deliver the best possible network experience for our customers.

You will work closelywith various engineering teams to scope out existing problems, work processes, optimisation activities, new product proposition requirements and oversee their delivery to completion via development of innovative capabilities within the space of data analytics,automation and tools.


What will you be doing?

  • Act as a solution architect within the Radio Performance & Design team.
  • Work closely with various engineering teams to architect solutions to achieve operational efficiency in the radio networks area
  • Scope out optimisation activities and new product proposition requirements and oversee their delivery to completion via development of innovative capabilities within the space of data analytics, automation and tools.
  • Define and document associated Optimisation and associated engineering processes, procedures and standards. Drive crossarea, crossvendor harmonisation

Who are we looking for?

  • Strong knowledge of radio access technologies (2G,3G,4G,5G), its deployment, acceptance, performance assessment and optimisation, with experience of the following RAN vendors
  • Ericsson & Huawei
  • Experience with defining and documenting processes, workflows and optimisation standards.
  • Experience of working crossfunctionally and driving collaboration between teams and functions to deliver end goals.
  • Highly analytical with excellent communication skills able to communicate confidently and effectively; able to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand.
  • Strong knowledge of radio access technologies (2G,3G,4G,5G) its deployment, acceptance, performance assessment and optimisation, with experience of the following RAN vendors
  • Ericsson, Huawei & OpenRAN preferable
  • Experience in data engineering (databases, data ingestion) and data visualization (Tableau, Qlik, Locker)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the following technologies would be a plus:
  • Public Cloud services (AWS, GCP)
  • Python
  • GIS tools (ESRI, Carto etc)
  • REST APIs
