    The People and Culture team is responsible for all people-related activity within Global Legal.

    One of Legal's strategic priorities is to develop our people and our culture, and in June 2022 we launched our multi-year integrated People Programme. The key outcomes are to support growth and development of our people, enable the delivery of the Legal strategy and to accelerate a healthy and inclusive culture.

    In January 2024 we launched a supplimentary product, Legal Core Expectations, to support colleagues to take ownership of their own career journey by outlining expectations of skills, behaviour and knowledge at different organizational levels.

    We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Legal People Engagement Lead.

    In this role, you will for lead the People Programme to continue to increase engagement and enhance employee experience.

    The role holder will be responsible for:

    ● Determining the ongoing strategy and focus for the Legal People Programme to align with and support the Legal strategic priorities.
    ● Designing, delivering and evolving the Legal People Programme and associated portfolios of work.
    ● Leading, building out and programme managing the Legal People Programme workstreams to increase engagement and enhance the employee experience of the Global Legal population.
    ● Interlocking Core Expectations and Legal People Programme products, ensuring alignment.
    ● Supporting the Legal People Programme governance framework and assist the ExCo workstream sponsors, recruit Programme volunteers from across the Global Legal population and actively recognise those involved.
    ● Owning and facilitating the Legal People Programme working groups, sponsor meetings and collaboration committee meetings, including developing scripts and producing content on tools such as PowerPoint and zoom whiteboards, and communications with the working groups.
    ● Managing and enabling the People Programme volunteers to co-create products to support our employees' career journeys, experiences, and a healthy culture across Global Legal.
    ● Own the BAU transition for all products and processes, retain responsibility for their future management and contribute to relevant external forums to share best practice
    ● Deliver continuous improvement by gathering feedback, reviewing results, and measuring the value of the People Programme products using all available MI, data and metrics.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

    ● Specialist level of experience in People, Culture and Employee Engagement areas including talent management, organisational development, people analytics, recognition or learning and development is essential.
    ● Highly skilled facilitator with excellent project management skills gained within People and Culture roles.
    ● Experience of agile programme management, governance and ways of working to deliver continuous value to the Legal employees whilst maintaining a line of sight to the overall programme vision.
    ● Experience in working with, supporting and managing individuals in different geographies.
    ● Strong Senior and Executive level stakeholder management skills.
    ● Experience of working in a legal and/or financial services business would be a distinct advantage.
    ● Some experience of working with design-thinking/customer engagement/ systems ways of thinking would be highly advantageous.

    The base location for this role is Leeds but we work in a hybrid way
