Responsibilities
As an Arborist you'll be working within the Transportation Team, supporting them to carry out all aspects of tree works from pruning to felling.
Your day to day will include:
- Carrying out safety critical emergency works when required and liaise with members of the public if approached
- Setting up safe working sites on the highway as well as following and complying with safe systems of work
- Complete risk assessments, ICoP, paperwork and training
Who are we looking for?
This role of Arborist is great for you if you have:
- Qualifications up to and including City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Using a Chainsaw from a Rope and Harness (CS 39).
- Valid CSCS card
- Experience and knowledge of strict Health & Safety operations and the related practical implications
