Teaching Personnel are currently hiring Teacher roles in and around South Essex,
specifically in Southend.

  • Are you based in or near Southend?
  • Are you a Fully Qualified or Early Careers Teacher interested in supply work?
  • Do you have QTS status?
  • Are you seeking varied experience within the classroom to build your knowledge, skills and confidence as an educator?

What would a typical day as a Supply Teacher look like?
First and foremost, your consultant would contact you to arrange the booking. They would send over a booking confirmation to confirm all of the details, e.g.

School Address, Name of School Contact, what you should take with you and any other informationyou'd require such as Subject/Class information.


When arriving at the school, you would need to present your DBS certificate and a form of ID before being introduced to your contact and being shown around the school/to the class.

All planning/work is provided, and you would bring it to life from there

For longer term positions, pay is negotiated with yourself and the school but would generally be paid to scale.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
