    Main Purpose of Role

    The purpose of this role is to identify opportunities for strategic people solutions for a specific business area that adds organisational value and supports a high performing culture.

    The job holder will design, develop, and implement directly and through others people related strategies and solutions. Utilising management and performance information to support and inform senior leaders in developing effective people plans in their area of responsibility.

    Support the Head of People Services, working alongside an established Business Partnering team to ensure an efficient and effective HR solution is delivered to develop a workforce fit for the future.

    Key Skills & Experience Required

    MCIPD Qualified or equivalent experience to perform the main duties of the role.

    Significant experience in a senior HR position in a large, multi-disciplined organisation.

    Current knowledge, understanding and practical application of effective people management solutions to identified business problems.

    Demonstrable track record in developing HR initiatives that deliver business outcomes and develop organisational capacity and build a strong employer reputation, delivering cultural change.

    Thorough knowledge and understanding of employment law, diversity & equality, and organisational performance.
