Position Overview:
As a Site Supervisor with fire-stopping experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our construction projects.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing fire-stopping installations, conducting fire risk assessments, and coordinating with various teams to ensure all fire safety protocols are followed according to regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage onsite firestopping installations, ensuring they are carried out accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough fire risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and recommending appropriate mitigation measures.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure fire safety protocols are integrated seamlessly into project plans.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to fire safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and training to onsite personnel regarding fire safety procedures and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to firestopping activities and risk assessments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in firestopping installations and fire risk assessments.
- Sound knowledge of fire safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in fire safety and construction management are a plus.
