Hire Desk Coordinator

Our Company

Core services include repair, maintenance, construction and installation of utility and infrastructure assets. We provide traffic management through our sister businesses; Go Traffic Management and Capital Traffic Management. Vegetation management and tree cutting activities are provided through EOS Contracting.

Our Role
As a Hire Desk Coordinator, you will support the daily requests coming into the Plant department.

The Plant department is responsible for all hire requests for the business to ensure safe & efficient delivery of our works at the most competitive rates with minimum downtime to the operation.


Key responsibilities

We are looking for someone to:

  • Work as part of the team to support the day to day operation of the Plant department
  • Take requests from internal customers and place the relevant orders with suppliers
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure plant is delivered to site and on time as requested
  • Support with breakdowns to minimize downtime, and manage the contracts expectations
  • Field internal and external calls to deliver all business requirements
  • Ensure our asset management system is always up to date
  • Ensure all contract costs are accurately allocated to the correct project codes and in the correct weeks
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure data integrity is correct and any discrepancies are identified, and reoccurrence is avoided

Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous Plant hire / hire desk experience would be an advantage with a knowledge of the Utilities industry, but this is not essential
  • Ability to coordinator tasks and manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong IT Skills (Outlook / Word / Excel)
