- Monitor network performance and ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate closely with Systems Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Handle network-related tickets and incidents in a timely manner.
- Maintain business as usual (BAU) operations for network infrastructure.
- Implement measures to ensure the network operates as efficiently as possible.
- Proficiency with Palo Alto and Fortinet networking technologies.
- Experience with multi-vendor routing and switching (Cisco, Arista, Juniper).
- Exposure to network automation tools such as Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a network engineer.
- Background or experience in the finance sector.
- Knowledge of multicast protocols.
- Exposure to cloud networking technologies.
- Understanding of MPLS networks.
