The Role
As Head of Events this role spans team management and hands on event producing across a broad portfolio of projects. Responsibilities include:
Managing incoming enquires and interpreting briefs
Event design, theming & mood-boarding
Developing creative responses to briefs and preparing proposals to pitch
Coordinating suppliers including catering, florists, etc.
Advising on technical solutions and working closely with the warehouse team
Managing the install and delivery of events onsite
Financial management and budget sign off responsibilities
Formal line management and development of a team
Internal process development and implementation to ensure quality control of delivery
The Candidate
We are looking for candidates in an established senior level role ideally from within an event or production agency. Candidates must have experience managing a team and the overall output of an event department. Individuals must have a proven ability to handle clients, convert a brief enquiry into a confirmed project and to manage the event from concept development phase through to onsite install. We are also looking for candidates who have some understanding of AV and technical event elements.
