£We have a fantastic opportunity for a Site Engineer to work on a long-term contract (rolling contract basis). The client is requiring a Site/Setting Out Engineer on a long-term rail infrastructure project, the company is a market leader and involved with major projects across the United Kingdom. This will be a great opportunity to gain experience with a Tier 1 contractor and develop yourself further.

Ensure the Inspection and Test Plans, and Quality Check Sheets are completed as soon as the checks can be completed.

Setting out and surveying.
Managing subcontractors.
Write and Approve method statements and risk assessments and ensure they are being followed throughout the works.
Worked on heavy civil projects.
Confident at setting out on site and producing QA reports, completing engineering documentation.
Previous Tier 1 contractor experience.
Preference working on highways and/or rail projects.
Knowledge of reinforced concrete structures is beneficial.
CSCS Card.
Confident at setting out on site and producing QA reports, completing engineering documentation.
Hold a degree in Civil Engineering or equal experience.
