We are excited to advertise a new opportunity for a Therapy Assistant to join our Post Acute Covid Assessment Team.


You will be working as an integral part of a team of Band 7, 6 & 5 OT's / Physio's and Therapy Assistants.

The team will be based at Salford University.

The Therapy Department within the Salford Care Organisation is one of the largest in Greater Manchester.

We invest in our staff and have a wealth of experience in the department to ensure we can support our wider workforce to deliver first class care.


You will assist qualified health and social care professionals in the delivery of the Post Covid Assessment and Rehabilitation Services.


You will take an active role in co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating individual patient care by designating an agreed caseload to therapy staff and assist them with planning and organising both your, and their time effectively.

To communicate effectively with patients and carer's to maximize rehabilitation potential and to ensure understanding of conditions. Communication skills of persuasion, motivation, explanation and gained informed consent will be used with a wide variety of patients.
