My client, a fast paced, multi-site organisation with a global reach; is seeking an HR Business Partner to join them on a permanent hybrid basis.

Reporting into the Head of HR and collaborating with the SLT; Duties include:

  • The role of the HRBP is to support our operational managers in all generalist areas of HR in order to increase line management capability and promote good HR practice throughout the business that ensures company behaviours are fully demonstrated protectsthe company brand and supports the overall business strategy.
  • Act as counsel to the business in all employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances and managing absence.
  • Hold HR upskilling workshops to promote best practice.
  • Coach and mentor the people managers across the business ensuring they are confident and competent regarding TUPE (supported by the HR BP (TUPE))
  • Supporting the HRBP (TUPE) with active involvement in the TUPE Process including presentations, consultation meetings, checking of due diligence, scope discussions
  • Support and advise managers on any people related issues pre and post contract, active involvement in delivering change where required.
  • Provide support to the business leads in delivering effective organisational change
  • Be actively involved in developing current and future business opportunities.
  • Work with the Leadership team as a coach, challenger, contributor and driver of important Divisional decisions. A true Business Partner.
  • Identify and report on the needs of the business (qualitative and quantitative) considering business growth, attrition and risk.
  • Translate strategy into actionable programmes, operations or activities.
  • Demonstrate positive engagement through HR metrics such as turnover and absence and have plans in place to improve these.

  • Support the HR Department and the business on the delivery of initiatives that constantly reinforces company values, culture and behaviours.
  • Work with internal customers to make sure that the company culture is demonstrated by onsite staff to deliver exceptional service to our external customers.
  • Ensure that managers have the tools and access to advice needed to effectively manage the performance of their employees.
  • Take ownership of complex ER cases, trade union discussions and other areas where HR expertise is required
  • Be visible in order for managers and employees to have easy access to assist with employee challenges or concerns. This should include regular travel to your contracts.
  • Act as an expert and provide timely advice on matters, followingup with managers to make sure their intervention has been successful and to offer any further assistance needed.
  • Act as an escalation point in disputes or formal proceedings
  • Translate business and HR MI trends to facilitate sound business decisions.
  • Alongside the Comp & Bens and Data Analytics head, utilise data for trend analysis and information insights, creating and implementing initiatives from the data to continuously improve key metrics
  • Have demonstrable experience in an HR Business Partner capacity
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Be CIPD Level 5 or 7 Qualified
  • Have been involved in TUPE in/out or both
  • Be strong in all aspects of Operational HR
