Description
To undertake cleaning duties for the purpose of raising standards of cleanliness in order to help reduce the spread of pre-hospital Healthcare Associated InfectionsTo prepare emergency ambulances to a structured plan within strict time schedules, ensuring that those vehicles comply with the Make Ready standard operating procedures and Quality Assurance checks
To maintain the serviceability of emergency ambulances, equipment and consumables
To act autonomously to ensure the continuation of Make Ready Services within the area of responsibility and prevent the loss of unit hours
Applicants must hold a valid full UK driving licence including cat C1 max 3 points.
- Performs cleaning duties to promote and maintain a clean and infectionfree patient treatment environment to mitigate the potential transmission of Healthcare Associated Infections
- Maintains vehicle, estate and facility cleanliness which meets the Trusts audit criterion for Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) in accordance with the Vehicle Cleaning Manual
- Prepares resources to meet strict time deadlines and any other operational requirement
- Contributes to effective communications with operational staff and other disciplines within the depot and its defined catchment area.
