Description

The Adult Learning Disability community team provides specialist interventions in line with our clinical pathways to patients with severe to moderate learning disabilities living in the community across LLR.

We are proud of our multidisciplinary make up which comprises community Nursing, medics, Psychology and Allied Health professionals.

As a service we are committed to working with our partners to reduce the health inequalities faced by our patient cohort.

We strive to provide the right care at the right time for patients who access our service and require our specialist health to achieve happy independent and fulfilled lives.

We are looking to recruit a band 7 Nurse Lead in our City locality team who will provide clinical and operational leadership and governance to the city community LD team based at Winstanley Drive.

You will need to be passionate about meeting the holistic needs of people with Learning Disabilities and have significant experience in relation to Positive Behavioural Support, (PBS) and mental health intervention and management strategies for our patient cohort.

You will be able to motivate yourself as well as inspire others.
