Group Accounting Manager | £450 - £600/day Outside of IR35 | 6 Months | International FMCG/Consumer


Altum Consulting are pleased to be supporting an International, Private Equity backed retail and e-commerce business to recruit a Group Accounting Manager on a 6 month interim contract paying £450-£600/day Outside of IR35.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Deliver critical support for the business and wider teams and stakeholders during the External Audit process.
  • Maintain clear channels of communications to all department heads and stakeholders within the Audit partners, working to quickly problem solve and troubleshoot relevant queries.
  • Oversee all subsidiaries and entities in their delivery of halfyearly and yearly statutory reports, ensuring submissions are accurate and timely.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors and finance stakeholders where key controls and reporting requirements are considered.
  • Oversight of the statutory reporting under FRS 101, 102, 15 and 1
  • Support with the statutory and accounting delivery across 6 month end periods and one half year.

Key Requirements:


  • ACA Audit Qualified, or ACCA with strong industry experience within group controls, risk functions or internal audit
  • Available Immediately (max. 1 week notice period)
  • Have 25 years PQE
  • Proven ability designing policy and procedure structure at group level, with experience in implementing core controls and leading a team through delivery
  • Ability to work strategically within a PLC or listed business environment
