- As aYear 6 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care ofchildren taking their first steps in Key Stage 2 promoting teamworkand cultivating a conducive learningenvironment.
- Teaching the Key Stage 2curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on eachindividual childs learning targets encouraging their strengths andimproving their weaknesses
- Keeping track ofchildrens progress and occasionally reporting back toparents
- Aqualified teacher status (QTS) PGCE orequivalent
- Experience inteaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATsexams
- A proven trackrecord of delivering highquality lessons and achieving excellentacademic results
- A strongunderstanding of the national curriculum and assessmentmethodologies
- Excellentcommunication interpersonal and organizationalskills
- Patience resilienceand a passion forteaching
