Job Purpose:
The Harwoods Group marketing team is bigger than it's ever been with further expansion on the horizon.

As a marketing executive, you will be responsible for the marketing activities of multiple prestige automotive brands with an exciting variation of day-to-day tasks.


Our department is responsible for making Harwoods stand out amongst the crowd and encourage both new customers into the business and encourage our own customers to remain part of the Harwoods family.

We are looking for creative individuals who are passionate about bringing new ideas to the table and thrive in a collaborative atmosphere.


You will work alongside other executives performing the same role but across different brands which promises a real sense of teamwork and idea-sharing.

With regular multi-brand marketing campaigns and events, you will be working very closely with the wider marketing team.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager the role holder will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns designed to acquire, develop and retain profitable customer relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Full UK Driving License

  • Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
  • Be the 'brand expert' for your automotive brands, keeping up to date with the latest model releases and current marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team on paid digital campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team on website updates and changes.
  • Capture high quality content for use across our social media channels
  • Suggest ideas for social media content to our digital marketing team for your brands.
  • Make minor content amends in our CMS to keep our new website up to date and relevant.
  • Write proficient and comprehensive briefs to artworkers for new campaign artwork.
  • Develop, manage and report upon all nondigital marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and manage all print and nondigital marketing communications materials including stationary.
  • Brief relevant new car model updates to the digital team and other relevant parties.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders within your brands.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key manufacturer stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with Harwoods Group Affinity Partners.
  • Provide Market Intelligence as requested.
  • Take ownership of both internal and external marketing planners, making sure we meet the minimum requirements from manufacturers.
  • Ensure that the SMT Team and Website team are briefed on all marketing campaigns and campaign performance.
  • Report back on own campaigns and events to contribute to a quarterly marketing planning process.
  • Develop, plan and manage any customer events relevant to your brands.
  • Work closely with other marketing executives across groupwide campaigns and events.
  • Act as 'brand ambassador' at any events you host, both in the showroom or externally.
Skills & Requirements


Essential:

  • Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT.
  • Good understanding of all major marketing communication channels and media.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and oral)
  • Good relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent Time Management and Organisational Skills
  • Commercially astute with a data driven approach and a focus on ROI.
  • Analytical mindset.
Experience


Essential:

  • At least three years' experience in a marketing role.
  • Experience of developing marketing collateral across a full range marketing channels.
  • Experience of developing and managing e mail marketing campaigns.
  • Experience of producing and analysing marketing intelligence reports.
  • Experience of working within a fastmoving retail environment.
  • Experience of managing promotional and customer loyalty events.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in an automotive retailing environment would be advantageous but not essential.
