To deliver outstanding engineering service to a leading global bank Mission Critical campus.
**To support delivery of Barclays & ISS Project Works on site by acting as Authorised Person, ensuing that works are carried out in fully in accordance with ISS safety procedures and Safe Systems of Work.

To provide technical SME, support, and resource to supplement the BAU (Business as Usual) Engineering teams to effectively manage risk and manage the impact of ongoing Project and BAU works to the operational teams.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with BAU teams, Project Integration Manager, Project AP and Professional Project management teams.

To deliver a best-in-class operation, by driving Clarity, Consistency, Compliance & Transparency through the deliverables to clients and colleagues.

Working as Electrical AP to support all incoming projects works, developing further as an AP, whilst providing backfill support to assist BAU operations where risks are identified, and time allows.

Key Responsibilities
***
Manage the day-to-day interactions between the project team and BAU site teams, including Permit to Work and Optima Critical Process.

To work in partnership with the campus facilities team in delivering for Barclays a best-in-class workplace environment.

Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements and ISS Safe systems of work SSOW

To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records and update documentation as directed.

To deputise for Project Integration Manager and CEM for certain tasks as and when required in case of absence or for training purposes

To attend site and TEAMS meetings as required.

To provide reports in relation to work and equipment as required.

To undertake training, review & assessment including such training as necessary to maintain standards and advancement to a higher grade.

Enforce and always maintain the Governance set out in the OPTIMA Critical manual and promote embedment.

Incident reporting and escalation is completed to ISS processes and timelines

Professional and personal competencies/qualifications
***
Qualified in an Electrical Engineering discipline.

Test and Inspection

IOSH - NEBOSH Certificate preferred

Solid Understanding of Safe Systems of Work.

Good Understanding of Project Management Principles

Be an Electrical AP with at least 5 years' experience carrying out duties as an Authorised Person.

Experience in a business and critical setting

18th Edition preferred

Have good written, IT and verbal communication skills

Have a natural positive can-do attitude, and forward-thinking problem-solver

Keen to learn and develop and share knowledge with others

Experience of working within a team culture

Emergency First Aid at Work.
