    30 days Holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays)
    40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

    My client are looking for a full timeCredit Controllerin our Coventry office.

    A suscessful applicantplays a crucial role in managing the financial health of our business by ensuring that credit is extended to customers responsibly and that outstanding debts are collected promptly.

    Analyse financial data and credit reports to make informed decisions on credit limits.
    Set appropriate credit terms and conditions in collaboration with sales and management teams.
    Communicate credit terms to customers and ensure compliance.
    Maintain proper documentation of credit agreements, invoices, and payment terms.
    Chase overdue invoices through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
    Address customer inquiries regarding invoices, credit terms, and outstanding balances.
    Prepare regular reports on the status of outstanding debts and credit risk.
    Provide management with insights and recommendations for credit-related decisions.
    Work collaboratively with the finance team to ensure optimal cash flow.
    Monitor and control credit exposure to minimize bad debt risk.
    Ensure compliance with the company's credit policy and relevant legal regulations.
    Propose improvements to credit management processes.
    Investigate and resolve any disputes related to billing or collections.
    Stay updated on industry best practices in credit control.
    Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar financial role.
    Knowledge of credit management principles and practices.
    Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
    Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
    A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is desirable.
