Carmichaels are looking for a Site Engineer to join their team for an exciting new project at a pumping station in Leicestershire.

• Overseeing the construction operations on site and guiding junior engineers
• Collaborating with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate resources efficiently
• Leading the setting-out team and supporting the development of junior engineers
• Resolving technical issues in coordination with the senior team and Sub-Agent
• Managing subcontractors to ensure work meets contractual standards
• Assisting in the preparation of reports, plans, and cost forecasts

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Previous experience in a similar role on large infrastructure projects
• Deep understanding of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and materials
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools
• Hold a valid CSCS card and relevant professional certifications like CEng or CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme
