- In an evolving and growing engineering team you will report to the Engineering Project Manager and be working in a dynamic, global and multi-project environment.
- Support with the implementation of change projects that have been driven by either VAVE or Product failures
- Complete accurate reporting of design failure modes on a broad range of products that can then be actioned
- Work on technical requests and lead the core engineering investigation and root cause analysis to then report the findings back (with support from the quality department).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of engineering core best practice
- Be operating in manufacturing and field service engineering environments with suppliers and customers on a frequent basis
- Technical degree in an Accredited Engineering related subject and or Time served Apprenticeship
- Six sigma and root cause analysis experience
- At least 5 years' experience working in product development environment for intended production (tooling experience beneficial)
- Experienced with Mechanical Product & Component analysis including Strong 2D&3D CAD skills
- Strong kinematic mechanism knowledge and interest
- A proactive, adaptable and approachable engineer
- Excellent internal/external client facing communication skills
- Comfortable with regular national travel and occasional international
- Proven leadership capabilities demonstrated in prior role
