    Job summary

    We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our vibrant therapy and clinical team as Lead Specialist Physiotherapist. The post holder will provide operational (day to day) leadership for our Living Well Service working closely with GP and partnership services across Wolverhampton, South Staffs and Black Country.

    Main duties of the job

    We are looking for someone to:

  • Providespecialist palliative and end of life care support and advice within ComptonCare as well as expert advice, education and role modelling to fellowhealthcare professionals.
  • Provideseffective operational management and clinical leadership of Compton CaresLiving well Team.
  • Leadand develop empowering patient focused therapeutic groups.
  • Supporttherapies practice in a variety of care settings as part of the widerpatient/carer support team.
  • Promotea culture that supports self-management independence and embeds patient andCommunity involvement within the sphere of practice.
  • Maintaina highly visible presence as a role model to staff, patients and visitors.

  • Registered andcurrently practicing physiotherapist
  • FirstLevel degree/equivalent experience BSc qualification
  • Relevantleadership and management qualifications
  • Teachingor mentoring qualification
  • Toplace the patient at the heart of all actions
  • Theability to work alone and within a team
  • Excellentcommunication and documentation skills
  • Hasreal passion and commitment to proving high quality palliative and end of lifecare
  • Anunderstanding of the principles of Safeguarding

  • First Level degree/equivalent experience BSc qualification

  • Has real passion and commitment to proving high quality palliative and end of life care

    This role is hours per week. Part time will be considered. Working predominantly Monday to Friday but will include some weekends and evenings in response to service need.
