Scope and Purpose
•responsible for the execution of transactions, including due diligence analysis, debt structuring, credit proposals/business committee docs/internal rating materials, negotiation/revie w of legal documentation, preparation of marketing materials (together with loan syndication/DCM), closing and funding;
•collaborate and coordinate with other areas of the bank to ensure smooth marketing/approval processes and deal execution;
•primary responsibility in monitoring and management of the credit performance of the portfolio;
•maximize the cross-selling and ancillary revenue contribution from the loan commitments; and
•support the professional growth of junior colleagues assigned to the deal team.
Required Experience
5 years of relevant experience (with market knowledge and relationship with Sponsors / Banks)
Competencies Required
Strong understanding and competency of all aspects of theleveraged finance and capital markets businesses, from origination to structuring to executionProven strong credit, analytical, financial modelling, debt structuring, rating analysis and legal documentation skillsAbility to analyze and conduct independent due diligence of transactions, plus identify industry/market trendsBackground inpreparation of marketing materials/commercial pitches to clients
Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge
Degree in Finance, Economics or AccountingExtensive capabilities in teamworking and process management (with tight deadlines) with internal and external stakeholdersStrong degree of commitment and flexible mindsetStrong communication skills: ability to get ideas across and present proposals (risks and mitigants) in a clear, concise, and persuasive mannerRight to work in UK
