    Role Description
    • Maintain and record throughput in Hub Room.
    • This position may be required to undertake all Production Operative activities detailed below.
    • Organise line activities and manning to optimise production.
    • Ensure that all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures are adhered to in conjunction with the Health & Safety advisor and Quality Manager.
    • Responsible for all Health and Safety activities within production areas including the completion of Risk and COSHH assessments as required and the participation in Factory and Health & Safety inspections.
    • Responsible for all line hygiene and equipment.
    • Complete production and material reports as required.
    • Ensure quality and integrity of product produced. Take appropriate action in relation to product produced and or stock holds which does not conform to the product specification. Liaise with Quality where appropriate.
    • Ensure achievement of Right First Time KPI/objectives.
    • Identify opportunities to eliminate and/or reduce customer complaints.
    • Provide holiday cover where appropriate.
    • Provide break cover as appropriate.
    • Lead Line changeovers.
    • Promote and execute SQCDP, CI and 5`S processes.
    • Awareness of HACCP, in particular CCP areas.
    • Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested to meet the needs of the business.
    • Manage and develop personnel in accordance with HR policies and procedures to maximise job performance and potential, raising concerns regarding under-performing operators.
    • Ensure employees are trained and fully utilised to the optimum skills level as detailed in the skills training matrix, allocating skills where appropriate
    • Manage attendance for employees through the relevant site procedures and time and attendance system.

    • Ensure all line operating SSOP documents are up to date
    De-Palletiser FLT
    • Undertake all required FLT duties and FLT checks.
    • Ensure the continuous operation of the De-Palletiser by supplying a continuous feedstock.
    • Support Goods In/Out as required by the business.
    • All operators to be capable of covering all operating positions
    Filler Operator
    • Responsible for syrup blending and carbonation to the required standards.
    • Undertake all appropriate traceability checks.
    • Undertake all analytical checks on product start up, from the blend set to final product.
    • Maintain product fill levels by regular checks ensuring fill levels are recorded.
    Packer Operator
    • Undertake and record all prescribed quality checks, in particular packaging colour and bar code checks where appropriate.
    • Maintain all traceability records from materials used.
    Palletiser FLT Operator
    • Undertake and record all prescribed quality checks.
    • Maintain all traceability records from materials used.
    • Transfer finished goods into appropriate storage area.
    • Check for physical damage to the product.
    These are the key daily tasks, not a comprehensive list of all tasks undertaken by the job holder. Flexibility is required by the business & this will be agreed with the individual`s line manager.

    Role Requirements
    • Experienced in manufacturing would be an advantage.
    • FLT is required. But consideration will be given to those who are about to take their ILA funding for training.
    • Ability to communicate with staff and management at all levels.
    • Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work with the Glasgow team.
    • Flexibility to work across departments when needed.
    • Experience of dealing with HR/ people issues (e.g. investigations etc.)
