Description

As HR Advisor you will be:

  • Contact point for managers regarding HR queries.
  • Provide advice and guidance to staff at all levels.
  • Manage Employee Relations case loads, including performance management, absence management, disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Cover the HR Manager during absences
  • Undertake staff consultation meetings
  • Head the maternity process, including administration and risk assessment.
  • Head monthly payroll, liaising with the finance department.
  • Head the recruitment process
  • Assist in delivering HR training.
  • Undertake exit interviews.
  • Monitor sickness absence trends.
  • Undertake work station assessments
  • Ensure compliance within the organisation with HR policies and procedures.
  • Undertake specific project work when asked.
  • Ensure HR records are maintained on the HR database system
  • Produce HR data reports and evaluate the data
  • Assist with administrative workload of the HR department
  • Compile quarterly KPI statistics and other reports

Profile

As HR Advisor you will need to have:

  • Experience as HR Advisor
  • Experience providing HR advice and guidance
  • Experience delivering staff training
  • Experience working with HR systems
  • CIPD Level 3 or above
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Knowledge of employment law and policy and procedure
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work individually as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive data
