Description
As HR Advisor you will be:
- Contact point for managers regarding HR queries.
- Provide advice and guidance to staff at all levels.
- Manage Employee Relations case loads, including performance management, absence management, disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Cover the HR Manager during absences
- Undertake staff consultation meetings
- Head the maternity process, including administration and risk assessment.
- Head monthly payroll, liaising with the finance department.
- Head the recruitment process
- Assist in delivering HR training.
- Undertake exit interviews.
- Monitor sickness absence trends.
- Undertake work station assessments
- Ensure compliance within the organisation with HR policies and procedures.
- Undertake specific project work when asked.
- Ensure HR records are maintained on the HR database system
- Produce HR data reports and evaluate the data
- Assist with administrative workload of the HR department
- Compile quarterly KPI statistics and other reports
Profile
As HR Advisor you will need to have:
- Experience as HR Advisor
- Experience providing HR advice and guidance
- Experience delivering staff training
- Experience working with HR systems
- CIPD Level 3 or above
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Interpersonal and influencing skills
- Knowledge of employment law and policy and procedure
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work individually as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive data
