Project Manager - West Midlands - Main Contractor

Skilled Careers is currently in partnership with a prominent Main Contractor engaged in a Major Project within the Midlands that are looking for a Construction Manager to join their team.

As a Construction Manager, you will oversee the Pre-main works, ensuring all tasks are planned and executed with safety and quality standards in mind.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise onsite construction activities, providing instructions to construction personnel to ensure work is carried out efficiently, safely, and meets quality standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment throughout the construction process and monitor the productivity of construction teams onsite.
• Implement designated construction methods as specified in method statements and procedures, adhering to best safety practices during operations.
• Plan and oversee short-term site activities, including requirements, deliveries, installations, and utilities.
• Verify and maintain records of delivered materials to ensure compliance with specifications, conducting adequate checks on subcontractor materials.
• Ensure adherence to Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) during project execution.
• Provide support to site personnel during work execution and ensure the area is cleared upon completion of activities.
