We are currently looking to appoint a Receptionist to work in the Den within the Family Care Division.


Excellent organisational skills and an ability to work under pressure are essential requirements together with great attention to detail for ensuring data is recorded accurately onto the patient administration system to manage the booking of the designated follow up clinics.


To be successful in this role you will possess excellent interpersonal skills and IT skills, GCSE Maths and English grade A - C (or equivalent) and have relevant office/secretarial experience.

You must have effective communication skills and be adaptable to meet the service needs.

Knowledge of customer care and previous NHS experience are also desirable.


The main emphasis of this role is to provide a comprehensive and courteous reception service to patients and families who attend Child Health in the Den.


Duties will include front of house, face to face Receptionist service to all patients and visitors, maintaining patient notes, filing, use of Careflow/Systm One, distributing post, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality is maintained at all times.
