What You'll do
As an APBI code expert, you ensure timely, pragmatic and compliant solutions for strategic practice change initiatives and promotional and non-promotional materials
- Grow an understanding of AZ disease areas and the selfregulatory framework the pharmaceutical industry works within
- Review and approve in a timely manner relevant materials and activities to support the therapy area aligned Signatory, as defined by local SOPs
- Stay up to date with the ABPI Code of Practice and share best practice with brand and medical teams
- Support delivery of the AZUK strategy
- Integrated business partner to the cross functional teams
Essential Skills and Experience
- Must be a UK registered Pharmacist or Medical Doctor
- Cross functional working and collaboration with colleagues across wide range of teams
- Demonstrated attentiontodetail and time management skills
- Problem solving skills and the ability to think strategically
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Business acumen/ entrepreneurship; seek out opportunities and new ways of working
Desirable
- Practical understanding of the ABPI code of Practice
- Previous experience working in a compliance, safety, quality, regulatory, health economics environment or Medical Information within the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry as an Appropriately Qualified Person (AQP)/Medical Reviewer
- Expertise in the Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic disease area
- An understanding of commercialisation processes/marketing activities and needs surrounding the effective promotion of drug products.
