We have an exciting new role working as a Regional Fundraising Officer for a charity working to end youth homelessness in the UK.
Position:
Regional Fundraising Officer
Location:
Remote (although you will need to be willing to commute into Central London for meetings regularly)
Hours:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary:
£28,000 - £32,000 per annum
Contract:
Permanent
Closing Date:
Friday March 10th 2023. First interviews will be held on Wednesday March 15th and second interviews on Monday March 20th.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity to develop your experience and capability in corporate partnerships fundraising and events support.
You will play an integral role in maximising impact and opportunities across regional hubs, including the Midlands, North West, Yorkshire and the Humber, South West, East of England, and Scotland.
You will get to work with some of the most engaged and passionate stakeholders; your role will support the work of Regional Boards through a calendar of events, supporting local representatives of the Ambassador Network of 'young professionals' and researching, cultivating, and developing new corporate partnership opportunities.
By helping maintain and grow the income generated through the Regional fundraising activity, you will deliver a significant contribution to the goal to deliver 1000 new homes for young people who are homeless by 2024.
With more partners behind the charity than ever before, and a growing presence of activity and impact across the UK, the organisation is on track for the most successful fundraising year in the charity's history.
About You
You will have an interest and passion for fundraising, and a proven ability to build open and constructive relationships with a diverse range of individuals, from corporate partners to local charities.
You will be an excellent written and verbal communicator and be articulate, persuasive, and credible in engaging with customers, clients, or partners.
You will also need to bring with you the following skills and abilities:
- Understand what makes for effective and impactful partnerships for charities
- Proven ability to work successfully and thrive in an agile and fastpaced working environment
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, clients, or partners
- Ability to recognise and deliver exceptional customer service or client liaison
- Willingness to learn and seize opportunity
