Purchase Ledger Clerk (6 month temp contract)


Location:
Sywell (Igloo Books)


Working pattern:
Mon-Fri (Tue and Wed in office - Other WFH)

Igloo Finance


General Summary


Working within a busy finance department this role will be predominantly responsible for the processing of supplier invoices onto our finance system, as well as other typical purchase ledger duties.

We require someone with a keen eye for detail and accuracy as well as someone who can work under pressure and hit key deadlines.


Key responsibilities

  • Matching, checking, and coding of supplier invoices
  • Liaising with suppliers on queries
  • Liaising with production on queries
  • Payment processing (BACS and international payments)
  • Other ad hoc duties

Qualifications and Experience

  • Intermediate MS Office Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Some knowledge/experience of an accounting system and posting of supplier invoices would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Good communication skills needed as regular dealings with all levels within the business and external suppliers.
