Description

The opportunity to work for a successful engineering business that is a machinist of components for Aerospace, Defense, Oil & Gas and Medical markets.

Supported by a large Group which has a suite of other business sites within the UK, USA and Asia/Pacific.

Ability to Set/Operate HAAS CNC Milling machines.
Ability to set up and Run through CNC machine tools.
Ability to recommend optimization on existing tooling methods
Experience of operating machinery using Fanuc controls
Measurement of Parts in Metric and Imperial.
Use of all types of measuring equipment Including but not limited to verniers, external micrometers, digital height gauges, internal bore mics.
Working to tight tolerances.
Changing Tool Offsets
Ability to interpretate technical drawings
Due Diligence and attention to detail
Additional (Not essential, training will be given):_
Single Spindle / Single Turret Machine Experience
Twin Spindle / Twin Turret Machine Experience
Experience machining Hard Metals and Exotic Metals
The ability to use Keyence, CMM and Vici measurement equipment
Be able to work on their own, whilst being in a team environment.

Contracted Hours - 39 Hours per week
Monday -Thursday 6 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.

Friday 6 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.

Hourly Rate - £12.00 to £15.37 Dependent on experience.

1 x 15-minute paid break and 1 x 30-minute break un-paid.

25 days holiday plus stats per annum
