What you'll do

As a Lead Engineer DevSecOps, you'll be evaluating architecture choices on an ongoing basis, in anticipation of increased scale and ever-evolving technology to meet the demands of a rapidly growing business.


You'll also be:

  • Managing and running production and nonproduction cloud platforms with no downtime to customers or colleagues
  • Establishing a DevOps practice that supports and enables engineers and the business
  • Deploying scalable cloud based services, such as Azure and GCP
  • Responsible for automation and system provisioning, metrics, monitoring, scalability and security
  • Promoting what we do to the wider bank and technology industry

The skills you'll need
We're looking for someone with prior experience in establishing and running a DevSecOps and SRE practice.

We'll look to you to lead a team of highly skilled SRE and DevOps engineers using DevOps & Agile methodologies.


You'll also demonstrate:

  • Extensive handson experience in design, build and deployment of Microsoft Azure tech stack, particularly PaaS resources and AKS implementations using CI/CD
  • Experience with Full Stack Observability e.g. New Relic, Data Dog and technologies such as PowerShell, JSON, Java Script, BICEP, Terraform, Jenkins
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is a must, including Repos, advanced Pipelines and package management
  • Strong experience with security automation across platform, collaborating with security teams to ensure platform integrity
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, and a proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement and performance bottlenecks
