Reed Education are seeking a Cover Supervisor to work in Secondary schools for our supply pool in East London.

We work with various secondary schools in the area and are expecting a high demand in January for the Spring term.

Working on a supply basis is a great way to have flexibility with your working hours, work in different schools if you like and build up your experience and ability as an educator.

The role of a Cover Supervisor involves being the responsible adult in the classroom, taking the register, talking through the tasks set by the teacher you are covering and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for our students.

What do we need?

Experience working with young adults in a school or college environment
Be comfortable managing the behaviour of teenagers
Have the ability to work flexibly
Looking for someone who is patient, kind, and able to adapt to different situations
We are looking for someone who is adaptable, organised, and able to take initiative.

The successful applicant might be an overseas trained teacher, experienced cover supervisor, or a teaching assistant looking to take a step up.

You will need an Enhanced DBS which we can help you with and a full referencing history. You must be able to work at least 3 days per week.

Pay rate from £90-110 per day.
