You will be working for a growing business. The senior leadership team are experts in the industry, and they have a significant growth plan.

Main duties
Reporting to the Finance Director, he is looking for an assistant accountant for support with the business.
Roles and Responsibilities

  • Daily Bank Reconciliations
  • Producing Daily reports to Group
  • Assist in preparation of Monthly reports
  • Preparing Sales Accruals for weekly reporting
  • Maintaining Retentions Ledger
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Posting Accruals and Prepayments
  • Maintaining Fixed Asset Register
  • Involved with Stock management, variances and KPI's
  • General administration duties as required by the needs of the department.

Requirements:

Essential skills/requirements

  • Sufficient experience working in a busy accounts department
  • Manufacturing experience (desirable)
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • SAP (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Accruals and Prepayments

Benefits
Salary Range - £28k - £35k based on qualifications and experience
Hours of work - 8.30am until 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Hybrid/office - 2 days at home / 3 days in the office
Holidays -25 days per year plus 8 days bank holidays
Other benefits -Pension scheme contribution are 7% Employee / 7% Employer
