Main duties
Reporting to the Finance Director, he is looking for an assistant accountant for support with the business.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Daily Bank Reconciliations
- Producing Daily reports to Group
- Assist in preparation of Monthly reports
- Preparing Sales Accruals for weekly reporting
- Maintaining Retentions Ledger
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Posting Accruals and Prepayments
- Maintaining Fixed Asset Register
- Involved with Stock management, variances and KPI's
- General administration duties as required by the needs of the department.
Requirements:
Essential skills/requirements
- Sufficient experience working in a busy accounts department
- Manufacturing experience (desirable)
- Excellent Excel skills
- SAP (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Accruals and Prepayments
Benefits
Salary Range - £28k - £35k based on qualifications and experience
Hours of work - 8.30am until 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Hybrid/office - 2 days at home / 3 days in the office
Holidays -25 days per year plus 8 days bank holidays
Other benefits -Pension scheme contribution are 7% Employee / 7% Employer
