Eurovia's core expertise is transport infrastructure and urban development, producing specialist, market leading materials and construction services to the UK highways industry. Our knowledge and technical expertise has enabled investment in growth to develop innovative and sustainable construction techniques and solutions that benefit road users, airports, stadiums, playgrounds and pedestrian footways across the UK. Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in;Workshop based to cover all types of fleet equipment to agreed skill levels. Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;
Willingness to apply skills to a variety of tasks, with changing team members, providing support to others
Prepared to develop and undertake relevant training & qualifications
Courteous and prompt telephone manner
Able to take responsibility for vehicle defect inspections
To be available for emergency and/or winter call outs
Ability to use own initiative
Promote safe working practices and ensure Health and Safety
To undertake servicing and repairs to all equipment in line with the manufacturer's instructions at any designated workshop facilities.
Be able to work on own initiative and plan own workload
Willingness to undergo specialist equipment training by equipment manufacturer. Formal qualifications required;
Knowledge of Vehicles and Plant.
City & Guilds in commercial/plant vehicle repairs equivalent and LGV Class 1 or 2 and CPC in transport.

Current Driving License
CSCS card if client requirement
HGV
Emergency First Aid Skills required;
PC Literate Experience required;
Experience in Mig and Arc welding.
Experience in Hydraulics and Electrics essential.
Understanding of electronics Knowledge;

Knowledge of company fleet vehicles Personal qualities;
Enthusiasm, team player
Flexible in terms of hours worked and attitude
Previous good attendance
