    Reporting to the Head of Project Management, an Account Manager is a key contact for clients and is responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of campaigns.

    Your focus will be to ensure all activity is delivered on time, on budget and in line with the client's specific strategic objectives.

    In essence, you'll be the glue that binds it all together – Champions, the delivery of our six in-house departments, our clients and, most importantly, their outcomes.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage several new and existing regional and national accounts
    • Forge and maintain solid business relationships with clients through regular proactive contact, ensuring the potential of each account is fully maximised
    • Support the Head of Project Management in coordinating and delivering agreed activities for clients to tight deadlines
    • Show a clear understanding of your clients' businesses, determining how best their objectives can be met and their expectations exceeded
    • Resolve any problems in a timely fashion and ensure deadlines are met
    • Monitor and report on each account's progress, working closely with both internal departments and external suppliers
    • Maintain close contact with the client at all stages of the delivery
    • Sense-check all work and communications before sending to client
    • Attend all relevant client and supplier meetings
    • Manage each account's budget, ensuring effective control and reconciliation of costs to deliver agency profit
    • Supplier research and liaison
    • Negotiate best value from suppliers
    • Arrange the effective and timely distribution of marketing collateral
    • Provide internal administrative support Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required
    • Outstanding administrative, planning and organisational skills
    • At least three years' experience in a similar role
    • Excellent client facing support and the ability to deliver high quality services at all times
    • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
    • Team player
    • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
    • Highly motivated and able to work without supervision
    • A proactive thinker with a creative mindset
    • Strong IT skills (including Microsoft Excel)
    • A keen eye for detail and accuracy
    • Understand and interpret client briefs
    • Strong negotiator
    • University-educated (desirable), or equivalent experience
    • Full UK driving licence
    • Experience of working in a fast-paced organisation
    • Experience in or understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics to support in the delivery of digital projectsBenefits
