    Description

    Experienced Painters & Decorators required to carry out painting maintenance and repair work for South Tyneside based council.

    My client are looking for a skilled and dedicated painters to join their dynamic team. As a paintier, you will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of painting repair in void and tenanted properties.

    This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to our clients commitment to providing high-quality repairs and maintenance services.

    Responsibilities:

    To perform various painting & decorating maintenance and repairs installations in tenanted and void properties. This will include carrying out tasks such as dot & dob, skimming, bonding, rendering and other plastering related tasks.

    Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and health and safety guidelines.

    Communicate effectively with tenants and colleagues to understand repair requirements and provide exceptional customer service.

    The Job:

    Start date: ASAP

    Location: Covering South Tyneside and wider North East Region

    Hours: 40 hours Monday - Friday (Overtime available)

    Duration:1 years worth of work running upto March 2025

    Pay rate: £18 - £19 per hour (CIS or Umbrella)

    Requirements:

    • City & Guilds or NVQ in painting
    • 3 years minimum painting experience
    • Full UK Driving Licence
    • Own tools & transport
    • CSCS card
    • Asbestos awarness or will to complete asbestos awarness prior to starting
