    The Role :
    Morningstar Managed Investment Data Group is seeking a Program Manager who would lead a team of project specialist members across different locations to champion strategic initiatives in building best-in-class project/program management platform. As we march down the path to transform and innovate how we operate for the many years to come, this Program Manager, expected to embody Morningstar "Our Commitments" behaviors, will join our journey and play a critical role in shaping our future through collaborating with global key stakeholders to strengthen our project management platform, promote industry-leading project management practices, and own results of global strategic programs. This position is based in Mumbai, and will report to Associate Director of Program & Product Management in MID.

    Responsibilities :
    - Manage and oversee the MID strategic programs, ensuring they align with the organization's objectives and goals.
    - Lead a team of project specialists working across different locations, fostering collaboration and ensuring successful project delivery.
    - Foster the people development of the project specialists, ensuring their personal growth, career development and a high-performing team.
    - Partner with MID leaders to deliver business results to exceed expectations.
    - Communicate effectively to enable transparency and consistency in project or program implementation, providing regular updates and insights.
    - Challenge current project management approaches, bringing in best practices to establish a best-in-class platform capability in the project management domain.
    - Actively promote project management best practices, advocating for continuous growth in project management competency across the data team.

    Requirements :
    - 10+ year professional experience working in investment data industry with wide and deep database knowledge, including 3+ year leadership experience in people management
    - 3+ years of Program Management experience with a proven track record in hands-on managing complex programs
    - Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
    - Strong interpersonal skill and ability to build effective partnership with cross-functional, cross-geographical stakeholders that can reach high quality decisions on relative subjects
    - A strategic thinker who can bring future into today's real world, to define work priorities effectively
    - Experience in leading organizational transformation initiatives, specifically in the area of project or program management methodologies.
    - Open-minded and a fearless self-starter with proven ability to handle multiple tasks in fast-pace environment and can deliver high performance results under pressure
    - Excellent business reporting and presentation skills
    - Strong knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies and workflow
    - Solid Lean Six Sigma knowledge & experience is a plus
    - A bachelor's degree is required, advanced degree or other professional certificates like CFA is highly valued
    - Flexibility to work outside of the defined shift.
