Salary:
Up to c£50K DOE
What you'll be doing:
- Providing daytoday support to sourcing and procurement activities, either through the management of daytoday routine procurement activities, or by supporting strategic procurement initiatives or projects
- Taking a lead role in the endtoend procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to contract negotiation / execution and ongoing Supplier Performance and Relationship Management
- Providing challenge into the conventional way of thinking and procuring, in order to develop innovative contracting solutions
- Managing and influencing internal stakeholders across the business
- Negotiating on existing and new contracts to ensure best cost / service to the business
- Supporting the business in delivery of key investment projects as well as leading projects solely
- Managing suppliers to ensure there is a professional and effective business relationship
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Demonstrable track record of Indirect Procurement / Commercial acumen
- Contract management experience
- Multisite procurement and stakeholder management experience
- Experience of working within a complex supply chain environment such as: manufacturing, large retailers, oil & gas, aerospace, automotive, nuclear etc.
Desirable:
- Category management experience

The Procurement team:
You will be joining an expanding team in which you can influence major investments the company is making in future platforms, help shape and deliver the category plan and mould suppliers, giving the opportunity to make this role your own.
In a role where no two days are the same, there is also potential for expansion, growth, and development within this role / team.
You will work as part of the Investment & Infrastructure Procurement team, managing strategic vendors and procuring services and manufacturing equipment.
Using the procurement lifecycle as a tool, you will manage vendors in line with the category strategy and support its implementation across the wider business.
