Accounts Assistant


Location:
Kirkham, Preston


Hours of work:
Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.


Salary:
£22,000 - £25,000 per annum DOE

Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a key role within our Finance Team.

Due to the expansion over the past few years and more growth that is planned over the next two years, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our busy team in Kirkham.

This role would suit an Accounts Assistant who is looking to take their next step. The company will support training and development, should you want it.

You will be an active figure in the wider finance team and will have the opportunity for real career growth.


Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Work with the Finance Manager to fulfil general requirements for the department
  • Preparing weekly/monthly payment runs
  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliations across all companies.
  • Assisting with credit control procedures
  • Dealing with, escalating and managing queries raised by clients through to conclusion.
  • Posting of monthly Journals including accruals and prepayments
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • General Ad hoc duties finance team duties.
  • Supporting the preparation of monthend.
