- Holding responsibility for reporting trends in FL claims and working closely with the Product leaders to learn lessons from losses and working with actuaries for reserving decisions to encourage a positive culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Achieving a reputation of claims excellence, innovation and service delivery in the Marketplace for FL.
- Operating within appropriate regulatory framework boundaries by adhering to Inigo's policies, audits, controls and risk procedures including the protection of all licenses and agreements.
- Extensive FL technical claims expertise and demonstrable working knowledge of complex claims, ideally gained from working for a Lead insurer and/or U.S. law firm.
- A solutions-orientated mindset working with clients and brokers in challenging and high-stakes situations.
- A rich pedigree of leadership experience, comfortable to lead from the front and lead by example internally, in the Market and externally with Brokers and Clients.

About the Team and Role
The Senior Analyst for Financial Lines & Cyber (hereinafter "FL") Claims is a key technical position within Inigo, responsible for overseeing FL claims and handling complex cases. The individual will work closely with the Head of Third Party Claims and the Claims Leadership Team with the aspiration of running a market-leading technical claims unit that is fully embedded within the product line. The individual will partner with Inigo underwriters to sell the Inigo claims value proposition and to build confidence and trust with our clients and brokers alike. Our products primarily target the U.S. market, with additional international programs. The role is focused on claims arising from Directors & Officers (D&O), Financial Institutions (FI) and Cyber policies. Experience in handling the aforementioned lines of business is preferable. A U.S. legal background is an advantage as experience in handling high-value D&O and FI claims pending in the U.S. will be a large part of the role.

This individual is experienced and capable of handling complex claims and as we grow further, enjoy managing or developing junior members of the team. This individual is a self-starter, always looking for the best way to partner with Underwriters in learning from losses and building strong relationships with brokers across the U.S., London and Australia and international clients – . Inigo will leverage this individual's relationships with U.S. market leading experts, including law firms. . The individual will travel to attend mediations and will have had extensive U.S. mediation experience and rapport with mediators. The role includes a keen interest in data and analytics which uses claims to discover trends and to inform the wider business.
