    This role is offered on a remote basis with regular travel. Candidates can be based anywhere in England as long as they have the ability to travel to our various sits for meetings and working collaboration.

    The Role

    The Finance Business Partner Commercial is responsible for the overall financial support, analysis of the performance and value add activities to the Group Commercial team, including reviewing pricing models and mechanisms, in collaboration with the central Finance function.

    The overarching objective of the role is to support OASIS' market growth aspirations through understanding the profitability of the existing client portfolio, the acquisition of profitable business with new clients and to grow our share of wallet with existing clients. In mid-term, the role will be involved in developing the Digital offering to our customers, including defining the products and their pricing.

    Working with the Pricing Manager and the Finance Business Partner Operations, the role will also support the UK&I Operations with developing the relevant KPIs, implementing them in collaboration with the UK&I MD and the Finance Strategy Lead; and analysing and interpreting the results for the UK&I Operations team on a regular basis.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Understand and maintain accurate pricing and cost models for OASIS key products and propositions.
    • Build key deal P&Ls and cashflow statement for the deal term, enabling OASIS to position compelling commercial proposals.
    • Embed a robust approach to standard/non-standard pricing sign-off within the OASIS Deal Acceleration Framework (Commercial Governance), in collaboration with the Contract Manager.
    • Lead on the finance side for key transactions under the Deal Acceleration Framework, deploying commercial innovation and outcome-based models to increase OASIS' win rate. Post closing monitoring of key wins to ensure delivery to business case / deal structure.
    • Responsibility for monitoring the annual price increases.
    • Build key deal P&Ls and cashflow statement for the deal term, enabling OASIS to position compelling commercial proposals.
    • Ownership of OASIS' understanding of competitor price points and commercial propositions, enabling OASIS to anticipate competitor offers and price to win.
    • Ownership/sign-off of Commercial and Pricing responses to client RFPs and tenders, including Bid Library.
    • Work with pursuit teams to establish commercial- and pricing-related win strategies and win themes.
    • Support the Chief Revenue Officer in monthly analysis and reporting of the revenue related business performance, identifying and deep diving into variances to target and proposing solutions on how to improve performance when needed. This will cover, but it is not limited to, review of the leads and opportunities in SalesForce, analysis of the forward-looking win expectations/forecast by type of revenue and product.
    • Regularly evaluate the performance of the various commercial teams, including Client Care, against KPIs.
    • Support the Marketing manager with the marketing budget and analysis of the marketing activities impact on the revenue line.
    • Active participation in revenue budgeting and forecasting.

    Candidate Requirements

    • Demonstrable depth of experience of building cost base and pricing models.
    • Experience of working a Business Services Commercial organisation.
    • Comfortable building a business support function from the ground up, without a defined existing approach.
    • Ability to work at pace and managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
    • Able to constructively challenge accepted ways of thinking and delivering, to deliver the strategy.
    • Experience of producing business insight which enables stakeholders to take important decisions.
    • Ability to walk in our clients' shoes and imagine and articulate the commercial outcomes which they need.
    • Able to synthesise wider business requirements and translate into impact on the Pricing function.
    • Confidence to present own analysis to key stakeholders with a mix of commercial and non-commercial backgrounds, tailoring delivery to the audience.
    • Independent thinker, able to manage, create and prioritise own workload.
    • Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.
    • Ideally CIMA qualified.
