    Job Title: Facilities Lead

    Location: Rochester – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

    Salary: Circa £60,000 + annual bonus

    What you'll be doing:

    • Management of the Facilities team and promoting personal professional development to keep abreast of all relevant advancements in Facilities Management practice and initiatives
    • Providing proactive, responsive and cost effective services, based upon high professional standards, and adherence to industry best practice and statutory obligations
    • Developing site facilities strategy, ensuring that it is supportive of the overall business plans
    • Developing long term capital budget plans for the refurbishment/maintenance of site Facilities
    • Developing and managing Site Facilities operating and capital expenditure budget for the Rochester site
    • Managing of major facilities projects, developing project plans and managing project budgets to ensure major projects are delivered on time and within budget
    • Managing KPI's for all contractors, consultants and suppliers against which performance of delivery can be monitored, reviewed and evaluated

    Your skills and experiences:

    Essential:

    • Electrical (Power) or Mechanical Engineering Qualification
    • Previous experience in Facilities Management
    • Working knowledge of relevant legislation including but not limited to:
      • Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulation 2015
      • Legionella Control LCA 9006
      • Asbestos Management L Code of Practice
      • Health and Safety (BS OHSAS
      • Environment Standard ISO 14001

    Desirable:

    • Good understanding of business continuity principles
    • Project Management/Planning experience
    • Membership of the Institute for Workplace and Facilities Management or a Facilities management qualification
    • Combination of office facilities and production facilities management

    The Facilities Management (FM) team:

    This is an opportunity to get involved on projects for medium to large sites, with exposure to electrical systems, refurbishments and small projects around construction. You will have a direct impact on keeping the business running and working with sub-contractors. You will be able to make your mark and influence the capability around producing leading edge technology electronic systems products.
