    Description
    We are seeking an experienced FX Quant Trader with at least 2 years of commercial experience in a Banking environment, to join a small but fast-growing Capital Markets business in Central London.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background academic background in Finance or STEM from a Top University, and at least 2 years of experience in FX Quantitative Trading, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of success in trading FX products within a banking environment.

    The role requires expertise in handling Order Flow and developing quantitative trading strategies to optimize trading performance.

    Responsibilities:

    Quantitative Analysis and Strategy Development:
  • Utilize advanced mathematical models and statistical techniques to analyze market data and identify trading opportunities in the FX market.
  • Develop and implement proprietary trading strategies that capitalize on market inefficiencies and generate alpha.
  • Conduct thorough research and backtesting to validate trading ideas and ensure robustness across various market conditions.
    Execution and Order Flow Management:
  • Execute trades efficiently and effectively, utilizing both automated and manual trading strategies.
  • Manage order-flow to optimize execution quality, minimize market impact, and reduce transaction costs.
  • Monitor market liquidity and execution venues to adapt trading strategies accordingly and mitigate execution risks.
    Qualifications:
  • Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Extensive experience (X+ years) as a FX Quant Trader within a bank or financial institution.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or C++ for quantitative analysis and model development.
  • Strong understanding of FX products, market microstructure, and electronic trading platforms.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful trading strategies in the FX market.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
  • Solid understanding of risk management principles and practices in trading.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced trading environment.
