Overview:


The PMO is the information hub for projects, budgets, frameworks, assurance/quality control, information management and processes within IT and involves consolidating & tracking/reporting of finances, risks, change control, support and knowledge management/learningfrom experience.

The role of PMO Analyst is to support the CIO office, CIO, Tower leads & project managers across Chanel UK&O Region.

The project, reporting and governance streams will touch upon all aspects of IT including Digital, Infrastructure, Retail,BI, ERP, Service and Corporate functions.

The role will be based in the central London office but depending on the project and reporting requirements will be required to travel to the Croydon office on occasions.


What impact you can create at Chanel:
Update and administer the IT project roadmaps monthly using reports from Project Managers and the outcomes of project meetings, steering committees and workshops
Prepare consolidated material from project reports for monthly reviews
Develop monthly portfolio level reports
Ensuring project plans are created and maintained, deliverables tracked against time and cost
Work to build upon Global IT project templates to support the Project Managers - use examples from current and past projects to identify best practice
Continue to evolve the processes and templates throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate projects and reporting across the region and global
Participate in Global communities and build relationships with PMOs within the Chanel organisation
Adopt governance standards across the portfolio, including tracking and monitoring
Develop the IT Project standards guide, seeking contributions from Project Managers, Global Build practices teams, and Service Implementation teams
Enforcing and contributing to governance processes across UK divisions and teams
Reporting to key stakeholders, sponsors and PMO
Enhance the communication capabilities for UK IT, both internally within Chanel Tech and the Business.
Support activities such as IT Strategic cycle management: MTP, Budget/Q1F/Q3F, Business Cases preparation
Maintain and challenge the IT budgets, actuals, forecasting and reconciliation activities in Excel and Global tools
Coordination with teams across the business (digital, marketing, operations, finance, logistics...).

Experience in structuring reports for varied audiences, in IT and the business
Consistent, regular reporting to the business
Ability to challenge project managers, ask the right questions and consolidate information accurately
