Junior Technical Services Engineer | GIS, Geo Technologies | Spatial Insight Software

100% Remote (UK)

Our client, a 30-year-old geography information system (GIS) and web mapping software development company, are looking to hire a GIS Technical Services Engineer.

You need to bring your background in GIS or a related discipline from a degree or work experienceand have a keen interest in GIS, spatial data, and web mapping technologies.

GIS Graduates are welcome to apply

This will be a Front-line support role where you will be dealing with tickets, some basic training for customers on the software, be involved on consultancies project and onboarding customers.

They are headquartered in Stevenage, with 35 people in the business.
However, this role is 100% remote and so can be done from anywhere in the UK.

Essential Skills:

Confident communication skills and enjoy working with customers facetoface and on the phone.
Selfassured, enjoy working as a team and be selfmotivated.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office software

Bonus if you have:

Oracle
SQL Server or PostgreSQL
Azure and web services
