Post-Doctoral Research Associate (PDRA)

Fully Remote

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Are you an innovative and skilled post-Ph.D. student looking for a research position that makes a difference? Do you want to utilise your experience in CNN, Pytorch and TensorFlow to affect real-world change?

My client is looking for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate to join their startup team to work on an infrastructure project utilising their background in Data Science, Machine Learning or Computer Science.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop end to end Data learning models with a particular focus on predictive modelling.
• Liaise with 3rd parties to collect suitable data and utilise open-access data for modelling.
• Develop and implement Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) to improve operational efficiency and predict Utilities usage.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to create a user friend dashboard with integrated tools to increase interpretability of XAI.

Desired Experience:

• Advanced degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Civil Engineering or other suitable fields.
• Previous experience within AI and Machine Learning technologies with a focus on Convolutional Neural Networks, Predictive modelling and reinforcement learning.
• Background in Python, Matlab or R, with experience in PyTorch, TensorFlow, CFD or OpenFOAM.
• Experience in real-time systems analysis and Data Engineering.
• Understanding of ethical AI use, data security and GDPR.
